Construction Foreman - Industrial Facilities

Our client requires a diligent and experienced Construction Foreman to supervise on-site operations for industrial facility projects in Port Elizabeth . You will be responsible for managing the daily activities of construction crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards. This hands-on role demands excellent leadership, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will play a critical role in coordinating trades, troubleshooting site issues, and ensuring efficient progress to meet project timelines and objectives.

• Supervise and direct daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate the scheduling of various trades and activities to maintain project flow.
• Conduct daily safety toolbox talks and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.
• Monitor material usage and equipment operation, reporting any issues or needs.
• Maintain daily logs of progress, personnel, and site conditions.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Foreman or in a supervisory role on industrial projects.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a construction crew.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) is advantageous.
