Site Foreman

Our client seeks a dependable and experienced Site Foreman to lead operations on various construction sites in and around Port Elizabeth . This hands-on role requires effective supervision of construction crews, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will be the direct link between site personnel and project management, responsible for daily task allocation, equipment management, and adherence to project schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong practical understanding of construction trades and a proven ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment within the Eastern Cape .

• Supervise and direct daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment, conduct safety briefings, and enforce safety protocols.
• Manage the allocation and utilization of tools, equipment, and materials on site.
• Report daily progress, issues, and concerns to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
• Monitor work performance and provide guidance and training to crew members.

• Proven experience as a Foreman or supervisor in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, trades, and building techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions in Port Elizabeth .
