Architectural BIM Coordinator

Our client is looking for an experienced Architectural BIM Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Port Elizabeth . This role supports a hybrid work environment, ensuring efficient project delivery through advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining BIM standards, managing the federated model, and facilitating collaboration among project stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing design coordination, identifying clashes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project data throughout the design and construction phases.

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM protocols.
• Establish and maintain the federated BIM model, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
• Conduct clash detection analysis and coordinate with discipline-specific modelers to resolve conflicts.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with client BIM requirements and industry best practices.
• Manage the flow of information between different project teams and software platforms.

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role within an architectural or construction environment.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Familiarity with various architectural design and documentation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with diverse teams in Port Elizabeth .
