About the Role
Our client seeks a forward-thinking Digital Learning Specialist to enhance educational technology integration at a dynamic school in Port Elizabeth . This role involves supporting teachers and students in leveraging digital tools and platforms to create engaging and effective learning experiences. You will be instrumental in designing and delivering training programs, developing digital content, and staying at the forefront of educational technology trends.
The goal is to foster a digitally fluent learning environment that prepares students for the future, making learning more accessible, personalized, and interactive through innovative technological solutions.
- Design and deliver professional development sessions for staff on integrating digital tools into their teaching practice.
- Support students in the effective use of learning management systems (LMS) and other educational software.
- Develop and curate high-quality digital learning resources and multimedia content.
- Evaluate and recommend new educational technologies and platforms to enhance learning outcomes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital learning tools and platforms.

- A degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in supporting digital learning initiatives in an educational setting.
- Proficiency with various Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas) and digital content creation tools.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical approaches to online and blended learning.
