About the Role
Our client is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Primary School Foundation Phase Teacher for a vibrant learning community in Port Elizabeth. You will implement play-based learning, develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills, and foster social-emotional development. Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Foundation Phase learners, catering to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Development or Foundation Phase Teaching (e.g., Diploma or Degree).
- At least 2 years of experience teaching in the Foundation Phase.
- Deep understanding of child development principles and effective early learning methodologies.
