Senior Instructional Designer

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Senior Instructional Designer to join their growing team in Port Elizabeth . This role is crucial in developing high-impact learning experiences that drive engagement and knowledge acquisition for various audiences. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to translate complex information into effective, user-friendly educational materials, leveraging the latest in learning technology and pedagogical research.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing blended and online learning solutions, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

• Design and develop engaging and effective learning content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, and performance support tools.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze learning needs, define learning objectives, and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models to create effective learning solutions.
• Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia elements to produce high-quality training materials.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback and performance metrics, making recommendations for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, with a strong portfolio of developed learning solutions.
• Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools and content management systems.
• Solid understanding of learning theories and curriculum development principles.
