We are seeking an Electrical Draughtsman, Permanent role, to support electrical design and engineering work within a manufacturing environment for our client based in Port Elizabeth
. The role focuses on producing accurate electrical drawings, supporting engineering projects and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related qualification

Up to 3 years experience in electrical drafting or design

Experience with in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Proven experience using Electrical CAD software or similar

Ability to read, interpret and prepare electrical drawings

Computer literate, including MS Office and relevant electrical drafting software

Prepare new electrical drawings for factory and process systems

Update and maintain existing electrical drawings as changes occur

Ensure all drawings meet required standards, safety regulations and ISO guidelines

Support engineers with technical studies, design reviews and presentations

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and electrical design projects

Track project progress from design through to implementation

Identify potential cost-saving opportunities linked to design and systems

Maintain accurate documentation, drawing registers and records

Support compliance by following internal controls and identifying risks

Liaise with internal departments and external parties when required
