About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in Building Services to enhance their projects team in Port Elizabeth . This role involves leading the electrical design for a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential developments, ensuring integrated, efficient, and compliant building systems. You will play a key part in project delivery, from conceptual design through to final commissioning, collaborating with architects and other engineering disciplines.

- Lead the electrical design and specification of building services, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and earthing.
- Develop detailed electrical layouts, schematics, load calculations, and control strategies for diverse building projects.
- Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
- Oversee the preparation of tender documentation and assist in the tender evaluation process.
- Conduct site inspections during construction phases to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical building services design.
- Proven experience with design software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and DIALux.
- In-depth knowledge of SANS standards and other relevant building regulations.
- Strong project management and client liaison skills.
