About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their advanced research and development team in Port Elizabeth . This role involves the design, integration, testing, and validation of complex aerospace systems. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that push the boundaries of aerospace technology. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and integrate complex aerospace systems, ensuring seamless interaction between various subsystems.
- Conduct system-level analysis, simulations, and modeling to predict and optimize performance.
- Develop and execute test plans for system validation and verification, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues encountered during development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, flight operations, and other engineering disciplines to ensure successful system lifecycle management.
- Document system designs, interfaces, and requirements meticulously.
- Master's degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering , including system design and integration.
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and control systems.
- Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
- Experience with systems engineering methodologies and tools (e.g., DOORS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
