About the Role
Our client, a specialist Recruitment Consultancy based in Port Elizabeth , is seeking a highly skilled Senior Recruitment Consultant to focus on the engineering and manufacturing sectors. In this role, you will be instrumental in sourcing and placing highly specialized engineering talent, from mechanical and electrical engineers to project managers. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the industrial landscape of the Eastern Cape.
This position is ideal for a recruiter passionate about technical roles, looking to establish themselves as a market leader in Port Elizabeth and contribute to the success of a well-respected consultancy known for its deep industry expertise.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering and manufacturing professionals.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates with technical engineering backgrounds.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
- Understand technical requirements and provide expert advice on candidate suitability and market conditions.
- Meet and exceed placement targets for specialized engineering roles.
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the CRM system.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment , with a proven specialization in engineering or manufacturing recruitment.
- Strong understanding of various engineering disciplines and associated skill sets.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with technical professionals and hiring managers.
- Excellent sourcing techniques, including the use of professional networks and job boards.
- Proficiency in candidate assessment and interviewing.
- A relevant degree or technical qualification is a plus.
