Telecoms Solutions Architect

Our client, a forward-thinking telecommunications company in Port Elizabeth , is seeking an innovative Telecoms Solutions Architect . This role is crucial in translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions for our diverse client base. You will design end-to-end telecommunications systems, encompassing network infrastructure, cloud services, and unified communications. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your deep technical expertise and strategic thinking to shape the future of our client's service offerings in the Eastern Cape , working closely with sales, engineering, and product development teams.

• Design comprehensive telecommunications solutions, including voice, data, video, and cloud-based services, tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
• Develop technical proposals, diagrams, and documentation for proposed solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance service capabilities.
• Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and align with industry best practices and company standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to implementation and operational teams during project execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, with at least 5 years in a solutions architecture role.
• Expertise in networking technologies (TCP/IP, MPLS, SD-WAN), VoIP, unified communications, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of mobile and fixed-line network architectures.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to design complex, enterprise-level telecom solutions.
