Operations Excellence Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Operations Excellence Engineer to champion efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives at their facilities in Port Elizabeth . You will work hands-on with production teams, analyze performance data, and implement strategic improvements based on Lean and Six Sigma principles.

• Lead the development and implementation of Lean Manufacturing programs across all operational departments.
• Conduct process audits and analyses to identify waste, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in Port Elizabeth operations.
• Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to track operational performance and report on progress towards excellence goals.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to engage employees in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational capabilities and product quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in operations, process improvement, or industrial engineering.
• Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including Green Belt certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in facilitating team-based improvement events.
