About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Energy Storage Solutions Specialist to drive the adoption and implementation of innovative storage technologies within the Eastern Cape region, based in Port Elizabeth . This role involves evaluating, designing, and deploying battery energy storage systems (BESS) for various applications, including grid stabilization, renewable energy integration, and commercial/industrial use. You will work closely with clients, engineering teams, and supply chain partners to deliver cutting‑edge storage solutions that enhance grid reliability and support the transition to a sustainable energy future.

- Assess client needs and technical requirements for energy storage systems .
- Design and engineer BESS configurations, including component selection and system integration.

- Stay current with advancements in battery technology, power electronics, and control systems.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy storage or renewable energy industry.
- Solid understanding of battery chemistries, power conversion systems, and grid integration principles.
- Experience with system design, project management, and site installation supervision.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements for energy storage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
