Mechanical Design Engineer - Industrial Machinery

Our client is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to enhance their capabilities in designing robust industrial machinery in Port Elizabeth . • Design and develop new industrial machinery and upgrade existing equipment using 3D CAD software .
• Create detailed mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and parts lists for manufacturing.

• Conduct prototype testing and validation, troubleshooting design issues and implementing necessary modifications.
• Work closely with electrical engineers to integrate control systems and components.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing industrial machinery or heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor, Solid Works, CATIA) and PDM systems.
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.
• Experience with material selection, manufacturing processes, and tolerance analysis.
