About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Treasury Manager to oversee their financial operations and liquidity management from their Port Elizabeth office. This role is crucial for managing the company's cash flow, debt, and investment portfolios to ensure optimal financial health and stability. You will be responsible for developing and implementing treasury strategies, managing banking relationships, and mitigating financial risks. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with extensive experience in corporate treasury functions within the financial services sector.

• Manage the company's daily cash operations, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Develop and execute strategies for debt management, foreign exchange, and interest rate risk mitigation.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
• Oversee investment of surplus cash in accordance with company policy and investment guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, procedures, and relevant financial regulations in Port Elizabeth .

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Professional Treasury certification (e.g., ACT) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate treasury, with a strong background in financial risk management.
• Proven experience in cash management, debt issuance, and investment portfolio management.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and banking operations.
