Senior Investment Banker

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Investment Banker to join their prestigious advisory team in Port Elizabeth. This role is critical in driving corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services for a diverse client base within the financial sector. You will play a key role in originating new business, managing client relationships, and leading deal execution from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a proven track record in investment banking, possessing strong financial acumen and exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes for clients.

• Originate and execute M&A transactions, capital markets financings, and other corporate advisory mandates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, and other stakeholders.
• Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence processes for transactions.
• Develop compelling pitch materials, presentations, and deal documentation.
• Manage junior team members and oversee the day-to-day execution of client assignments.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and potential transaction opportunities.

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance or a related field; strong academic credentials are required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
