IT Solutions Specialist

A leading technology solutions provider is seeking an IT Solutions Specialist to join its Eastern Cape team. This client-facing role focuses on understanding customer requirements, designing tailored technology solutions, and supporting the sales process from initial consultation through to successful implementation. Working alongside experienced sales and technical teams, you will deliver solutions across managed services, networking, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity. You will also take ownership of an established client portfolio, providing a solid foundation for continued growth and success.

This role is ideal for a technically minded professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions while building trusted relationships with clients.

• Engage with clients to identify technology requirements and potential opportunities.
• Conduct site assessments and solution discovery sessions.
• Design and recommend solutions across managed IT services, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and solution designs.
• Present technical solutions to clients and support the sales process.
• Manage and grow an existing client portfolio.
• Drive managed services growth and recurring revenue opportunities.
• Work closely with technical and sales teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

• Relevant IT qualification or industry certifications.
• Experience with in IT sales, technical consulting, managed services, or pre-sales environments.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies, including routing, switching, and wireless solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based technologies.
• Knowledge of server infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to business stakeholders.
• Networking and infrastructure technologies.
• Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Cloud technologies.
• Cybersecurity solutions including firewalls, endpoint security, and email security.
• Solution design and proposal development.
• Certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, CompTIA, Sophos, or Mikro Tik.
• Experience with Sophos, Reyee, Ruijie, or Mikro Tik solutions.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and security technologies.
