We are seeking a driven Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to design and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations across DHL’s regional logistics network.

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and propose optimization strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement, inventory, and distribution processes
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure supply chain performance
• Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality standards
• Utilize logistics software to model scenarios and forecast demand

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of lean logistics and Six Sigma methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field

Postgraduate qualification or certification (e.g., CSCP) preferred

3-5 years in supply chain optimization or logistics operations

Proven track record in process improvement projects

R45,000 – R60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and performance.
