About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics and Operations Coordinator to manage and streamline supply chain activities in Port Elizabeth . This role is vital for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, managing inventory, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet delivery schedules and operational targets. You will play a key part in optimizing logistics processes, reducing costs, and maintaining high levels of service for our customers.

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the logistics and transportation process, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and proactively address any potential disruptions or delays.
• Maintain accurate operational and logistics records, preparing reports on performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the logistics and supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination, preferably in the Port Elizabeth area.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles .
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
