Our client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all logistics and distribution activities across local and export markets
- Oversee warehousing, transportation, and distribution to ensure optimal stock flow and on-time delivery
- Manage third-party logistics providers(3PLs), transporters, clearing agents, and freight forwarders
- Monitor and optimise logistics costs, fleet utilisation, and route planning
- Manage export logistics processes including documentation, customs clearance, Incoterms, and international shipping
- Ensure compliance with South African export regulations, customs requirements, and destination country regulations
- Coordinate with clearing agents and freight forwarders for sea, air, and road freight
- Manage export lead times, container planning,and cross-border distribution (SADC and international markets)
- Manage high-volume, fast-moving stock withtight delivery timelines and shelf-life constraints
- Collaborate with Sales, Demand Planning,Production, and Finance to align forecasts and stock availability
- Ensure compliance with OHSA, road transport regulations, and company safety standards
- Implement and monitor SOPs for warehousing,distribution, and export processes
- Manage risk, insurance claims, loss prevention, and damage control
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics,Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management in the Agriculture / FMCG
- Proven export logistics experience , including cross-border shipments and international trade
- Experience managing warehouses, transport operations, and 3PLs
- Strong knowledge of South African transport,customs, and export regulations
- Strong understanding of FMCG distribution models and high-volume logistics
- Experience with Syspro or similar system
- Experience managing a large team
- Candidate must reside in the Port Elizabeth /Uitenhage area
