About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Project Manager to spearhead Supply Chain Optimization initiatives in Port Elizabeth . This hybrid role offers a balanced approach to work, combining office-based collaboration with remote flexibility. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, developing strategic solutions, and managing projects that enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, and proven project management skills to drive significant improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze current supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and execute project plans for supply chain optimization initiatives, including technology implementations and process redesigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and operations to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact and success of implemented changes.
- Communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- 5+ years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on supply chain or operations management.
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing supply chain processes, logistics, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in project management software and supply chain management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
