Maintenance Fitter

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the Markman, Port Elizabeth team.

· Carry out maintenance functions to ensure that the machines & factory remain well looked after

· Conduct maintenance checks on chillers, cooling towers & compressor

· Repairs, maintenance, and alterations of equipment when required

· General upkeep of the grounds & structure

· Welding and fabrication of new equipment and machinery

· Fill in documented weekly checklists

· Carry out standby duties,

· Grade 12

· Qualified Fitter and Turner

· Minimum 3 - 5 years post qualification experience,

· In depth hydraulics experience

· Experience in a maintenance environment

· Experience in steel fabrication and sketch up own design

· Arc welding experience

· Injection moulding experience advantageous

· Hydraulic experienced (Read and interpret drawings)

· Valid drivers license and own transport,
