Sanitation Team Member - Logistics Hub

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Sanitation Team Member to join their busy logistics hub in Port Elizabeth . This role is vital for ensuring that all areas of the distribution center are kept clean, safe, and hygienic, supporting efficient operations. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in warehouses, loading docks, offices, and restroom facilities. This position requires a dedicated individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene to support the smooth running of the logistics operation and uphold workplace safety standards.

• Perform daily cleaning duties in designated areas of the logistics hub, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces regularly.
• Manage waste disposal, ensuring bins are emptied and the surrounding areas are kept tidy.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of cleaning equipment and supply closets.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks during scheduled maintenance periods.
• Follow all company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental procedures.

• Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Understanding of basic cleaning procedures and sanitation principles .
