Key Responsibilities- Spray painting & handling of castings: Move castings using an overhead crane, ensure they are clean prior to spray painting, inspect for surface defects and dress as required, spray paint according to required standards, then move and stack castings in designated areas safely.
- Quality, production & performance: Adhere to quality control requirements per work instructions, achieve set production targets, work according to efficiency standards, and comply with all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions (WIs), and company policies.
- Maintenance & materials: Perform TPM checklists, ensure consumable stock items are maintained, and report low stock levels to the Shift Leader.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Previous spray painting experience (advantageous)
- Overhead crane license (advantageous)
