Quality Assurance Engineer - Industrial

Our client seeks a meticulous Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest standards of product and process quality at their facility in Port Elizabeth . This role is critical for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems and procedures. You will be responsible for identifying potential quality issues, developing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement in quality metrics. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality management principles, and a commitment to upholding excellence in all aspects of manufacturing operations.

• Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Maintain quality documentation and records, ensuring traceability and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Experience with statistical tools for quality analysis (e.g., SPC, DOE).
