Research Fellow - Neuroscience

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Research Fellow to join their cutting-edge Neuroscience research team in Port Elizabeth. • Conduct experiments related to neurodegenerative diseases, neuroinflammation, or neural plasticity under supervision.
• Perform molecular biology, cell biology, and potentially behavioral neuroscience experiments.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, maintaining accurate laboratory notebooks.
• Assist in the preparation of research manuscripts, grant proposals, and scientific presentations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot experiments and contribute to project planning.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques relevant to neuroscience research.
• Familiarity with data analysis software and scientific literature research.
