Temporary Cashier Position

TEMPORARY CASHIER POSITION AVAILABLE/NEWTON PARK/PORT ELIZABITH

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our clients team on a temporary basis, with the potential for longer-term opportunities based on performance and business needs. MUST BE willing to work retail hours/week-ends

• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Honest, dependable, and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods

• Accurately process cash, card, and electronic payments
• Issue receipts, refunds, and credits where required
• Balance cash drawer at the start and end of each shift
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Assist with basic administrative and stock-related tasks when required
• Maintain a clean and organised checkout area

Contract Type: Temporary (with potential for extension)
Start Date: Immediate

Remuneration – Market related (based on experience)
