Our client in Port Elizabeth is looking for a talented and creative Mobile Developer to join their dynamic team! As a Mobile Developer you will be responsible for building and maintaining sleek and powerful mobile applications for both Android and IOS platforms.

• Designing and developing mobile applications for IOS and Android, from concept to deployment.
• Collaborating with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create seamless, user-friendly experiences.
• Optimizing app performance, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving the app lifecycle.
• Staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging the latest mobile technologies.

• Proven experience in Mobile App Development (IOS/Android).

A combination of the below skills will be preferable:

• Ionic Framework (with Angular):
  Experience in building cross-platform mobile apps using Ionic and Angular.
• React Native & Expo
  :
  Expertise in developing apps using React Native, including Expo for rapid development and deployment.
• Type Script :
  Proficiency in Type Script for building robust and scalable applications.
• REST APIs
  :
  Experience in integrating and working with RESTful APIs for seamless app functionality.
• Firebase
  :
  Hands‑on experience with Firebase for authentication, real‑time database, cloud storage, and other backend services.
• App Deployment
  :
  Knowledge of deploying apps to App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), including compliance with their respective guidelines.
• Push Notifications
  :
  Experience in implementing push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android and Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for iOS.
• Offline‑First Development
  :
  Expertise in developing apps that support offline functionality using SQLite or other local storage solutions.
• Authentication
  :
  Familiarity with various authentication methods, including OAuth
  , JWT
  , and SSO (Single Sign-On), to secure and manage user sessions.
