About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Computer Vision Engineer to join their innovative team in Port Elizabeth . • Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms and models for tasks such as image classification, object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
• Implement deep learning models using frameworks like Tensor Flow or PyTorch for vision-based tasks.
• Process and analyze large image and video datasets, ensuring data quality and relevance for model training.
• Integrate computer vision solutions into existing software systems and hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product managers, to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and machine learning.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Computer Vision or Machine Learning.
• 3+ years of professional experience in computer vision development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python , C++, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., OpenCV, Num Py, Sci Py).
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch) and model training.
• Solid understanding of image processing techniques and fundamental computer vision principles.
• Experience with data augmentation and model optimization techniques.
