Main Purpose of the Position
To maintain effective radio communication with road staff, prepare schedules, and keep an accurate daily log of all events, road operations, and client interactions.
Duties- Maintain radio and telephone communication with vehicles to ensure their locations and activities are known at all times.
- Ensure crews use the correct codes in all radio transmissions.
- Confirm that emergency procedures are understood and adhered to by all vehicles.
- Maintain and record a precise and accurate daily log of all vehicle and third-party movements, including "blind radio spot" notations, no-service receipt numbers, standby situations, operational reminders, failures to meet agreed schedules, and unscheduled work.
- Contact clients to confirm when a "no service" is given to crews.
- Brief new road crews on specific schedule details to maximise efficiency, courtesy, and safe driving.
- Keep all emergency telephone numbers within the branch’s jurisdiction readily available.
- Maintain maps covering the branch’s operations to assist with schedule planning, re-routing, and general information.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by superiors that serve the interests of the company.

- Attend safety education and refresher programmes regularly.
- Comply fully with workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Distribute safety information as required.
- Wear protective clothing at all times.
- Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Radio control operations
- Experience in Police, Military, or a minimum of two years in the CIT (Cash-in-Transit) field
- Formal CIT training
- Professional conduct
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Adaptability to changing circumstances
- Minimum Grade 10 qualification
- Valid driving licence
- Professional Driving Permit (branch-specific requirement)
- PSIRA Grade C + CIT certification
