Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of a Despatch Clerk for the Port Elizabeth branch
. This incumbent will be reporting to the Branch Manager
.
The purpose of this role is to ensure adherence and efficient receiving processes are followed and promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies.
Your areas of responsibility :- Unload and unpack stock of products
- Inspect stock for damage and correct quantities
- Report damages or shortages to the appropriate person
- Match stock to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork
- Prepare and organize received stock for inventory
- Return damaged products to customers
- Monitor inventory levels
- A valid matric certificate is a MUST
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a stores / warehouse environment is an ADVANTAGE
- Knowledge of computer software packages and MS Office
- Knowledge of the K8 system is an ADVANTAGE
- Good product knowledge
- Knowledge of warehouse processes
- Knowledge of relative safety standards protective clothing
