Inventory Control Specialist; Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join their dedicated remote team, focusing on their extensive Logistics & Warehousing operations. This role is paramount in maintaining accurate inventory levels across all distribution points, ensuring that stock is managed efficiently and effectively. You will be instrumental in implementing and refining inventory control procedures, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting overall operational accuracy.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute significantly from your home environment, irrespective of the physical location of our client's operations in Port Elizabeth .

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and product locations within the warehouse management system (WMS) .
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to prevent loss and damage.
• Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels and smooth replenishment.

• Proven experience in inventory control , warehouse management, or a related logistics role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with WMS software and inventory tracking tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, essential for a remote position.
