Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead their team in Port Elizabeth . This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all warehouse activities. This is a hands‑on leadership position critical to maintaining the smooth flow of goods for our client's operations in the Eastern Cape, contributing to overall supply chain success.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and inventory integrity.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage warehouse equipment and ensure it is maintained in good working order.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock takes.

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with the logistics and transport sector in Port Elizabeth .
