Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Technician within our Real Estate team. You will be based in the Chelmsford or Glasgow office, working at least three days per week.
LocationChelmsford or Glasgow – hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in office).
OpportunityReport to the Real Estate Team Leaders and provide administrative support across all accounts within the Real Estate team.
Key Accountabilities- Enter data accurately to maintain high data quality and management reporting.
- Manage diaries and schedule appointments.
- Carry out administrative duties such as allocating post to files.
- Handle external queries professionally and record conversations and messages.
- Liaise with McLarens Loss Adjusters and Account handlers when required.
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures, invoicing processes, and produce management information reports.
- Execute projects assigned by the Head of Real Estate.
- Attend client review meetings as needed.
- Take minutes and record actions from internal and external meetings.
- Assist with onboarding new clients.
- Coordinate renewal documentation with the Client Lead.
- Invoice and bill European and UK files.
- Support account handlers with closure of files and chasing documentation for both Property & Liability teams.
- Carry out ad‑hoc tasks as required.
This is an entry‑level role. No prior experience in the sector is required. Candidates should demonstrate quality focus, strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential; advanced Excel knowledge is advantageous.
