Theatre Usher

Become a crucial part of the guest experience at our theatre in Port Hope, Ontario. As an usher, you will warmly greet guests and guide them to their seats while ensuring their comfort throughout the show.

This ongoing volunteer role involves helping patrons review their tickets and navigate to the correct entrance. During the performance, you'll monitor the audience and be ready to assist anyone who needs to leave or re-enter the theatre. You'll also alert the Patron Services Manager in case of emergencies, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and provide seating guidance

• Review tickets and direct guests to entrances

• Monitor audience during performances

• Assist patrons needing to leave or re-enter

• Report emergencies to the Patron Services Manager
