The Municipality of Port Hope is inviting community-minded residents to apply to serve on local boards and quasi-judicial committees for the 2026–2030 term.

Local boards and quasi-judicial committees play an important role in supporting transparent, informed, and community-focused decision-making. Participation provides residents with an opportunity to share their skills, experience, and perspectives while helping guide the future direction of our community.

Residents who are interested in contributing to municipal decision-making and supporting the continued growth and well-being of Port Hope are encouraged to apply.

Members appointed to the Port Hope Police Services Board receive annual remuneration of $4,000.

The Municipality of Port Hope is seeking applications from residents interested in serving as a Council Appointee on the Port Hope Police Service Board.

Under Ontario's Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 (CSPA), the Police Service Board is responsible for ensuring the provision of adequate and effective policing in the community, establishing priorities and policies for the police service, and providing civilian oversight and governance.

Residents with an interest in community safety, public service, and good governance are encouraged to apply. We are looking to fill one vacancy.
