Position: Port Hope RPN at Southbridge Care Homes

In this pivotal RPN role, you will support our mission of delivering exceptional long-term care. Your duties will involve assessing residents, implementing tailored care plans, and monitoring health changes. You ensure that care protocols meet the standards set by the College of Nurses and Southbridge Care Homes while guiding a dedicated team of caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs for residents

• Assess and create personalized resident care plans

• Direct restorative and palliative care activities

• Oversee nursing staff and their training on the unit

• Implement physician orders and manage team performance

Requirements:

• Valid nursing certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Registration eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association

• Current First Aid and BLS certifications

• In-depth knowledge of nursing and health care standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
