Temporary Field Support Unit - Security Guard Campbellford​/Cobourg

Job Description

• Perform assigned shifts across multiple sites, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and responding to fire or emergency incidents
• Deliver strong customer service while assisting individuals under stress or requiring medical support
• Apply use of force or restraints when required
• Provide security escorts and motor‑vehicle assistance to staff and visitors
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for all activities, calls, and investigations
• Enforce rules, address violations, and remove individuals when necessary
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access and unlawful activity
• Manage access control at entry points and ensure only authorized personnel enter
• Support enforcement of company policies, reporting suspicious activity and security concerns
• Report incidents, accidents, and breaches promptly to management
• Monitor surveillance systems and ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other authorities when required
• Additional duties as assigned

• Immunization record (Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and
  2)

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid standard first aid & CPR level C from a WSIB‑approved provider
• G2 or G‑class Ontario driver’s license
• Proof of (minimum) two COVID‑19 vaccine doses
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Willing to complete N95 mask fit clean‑shaven requirement
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Fluent in English (both oral and written)
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding to ensure they meet the requirements of the position. The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre‑requisite; however Paladin will cover all training costs with a 6‑month commitment to the position/availability
