Youth Program Coordinator

The Municipality of Port Hope seeks a dedicated individual to coordinate and deliver engaging programs for youth. This position requires experience working with children, a strong understanding of the HIGH FIVE® principles, and the ability to handle operational conflicts professionally. You will also be responsible for creating a safe and positive environment while acting as the liaison between parents and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop assigned programs with coordinators

• Deliver programs safely and supervise participants

• Create a welcoming, youth-friendly atmosphere

• Handle admissions cash and balance daily sales

• Respond to public inquiries regarding programs

Requirements:

• Secondary Diploma preferred; high school students considered

• Standard First Aid and CPR “C” with AED certification

• Experience working with youth and children

• Proficiency in computer applications;
Active Net knowledge an asset

• Availability to work evenings and weekends
