Principal Logistics Engineer; LE

Part Time, on-site position supporting the ALOFT Task Order providing Systems Engineering support for D24 Technical Code.

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar discipline and ten (10) years of directly related experience.
• Must be able to review Engineering Changes and determine the impact on provisioning.
• Must have experience in equipment engineering changes, maintenance procedures, and technical manual changes for Aegis Weapon Systems.
• Must have extensive knowledge in the COTS Technology Refresh Programs, Engineering Change Process and Ship Alterations/ORDALT planning.
• Must have experience in Navy test and analysis, in-service engineering and logistics support of shipboard combat systems.
• Must be able to interface and provide work status to various NAVSEA managers, design agents,PEO Program and Project Offices.
• Must be able to analyzed the effects of design changes to the combat system and provide recommendations in engineering working groups.
• Must be able to analyze and recommend mechanical and electrical design changes for impact to technical manuals.
• Must have strong analytical, problem solving, project planning and organization skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and able to present at formal program reviews.
• Must be able to work independently, providing professional document development, information management and analysis services.
• Must be able to develop workable project schedules to ensure completion of complex, time-sensitive tasking.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and receive/maintain a security clearance.
• Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.

• Experience with PHD organization, policies and logistics procedures.
