A great UHY client is seeking an Temp Accounting Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, tech savvy (QBO and CRM, ideally) and job costing experience.

The Temp Accounting Consultant role is an onsite position. This is a temporary, contracted position.

• Reconcile and organize multiple years of historical financial records, resolving discrepancies and addressing gaps in documentation.
• Design and implement reliable accounting systems and processes to support accurate financial reporting going forward.
• Develop job costing functionality using payroll and expense data to produce detailed insights into operational costs, including project-level and fuel expenses.
• Deliver timely, accurate financial reports and metrics to support leadership decision-making.
• Partner with internal team members to strengthen overall accounting practices and improve financial literacy across the organization.

• Demonstrated experience remediating disorganized or incomplete financial records and building accounting systems from the ground up.
• Strong proficiency with cloud-based accounting software, particularly Quick Books Online.
• High level of technical aptitude, including experience working with CRM platforms that integrate closely with accounting and operational data.
• Ability to quickly analyze, structure, and manage complex financial information.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment is strongly preferred.
