Buckland is looking for a National Account Manager
What you’ll be doing
This position is responsible for managing strategic accounts and maximizing all opportunities for sales and growth within the accounts. The National Account Manager will facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals working alongside Sales and Operations.

You will be responsible for
- Manage large company accounts acting as the primary point of contact building strong relationships while meeting client’s expectations.
- Coordinate with all internal teams while managing the client journey providing both scheduled and ad hoc reporting .
- Coordinate projects and participate in RFQ, RFI & RFP.
- Deliver client servicing through visits and/or meetings promoting a culture of continuous improvement to enhance service offerings and client interactions.
- Develop a shared growth plan to identify and propose growth opportunities for upselling and cross selling that align with client need.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of customers’ business activities, history, brokerage & logistic rates and analyze the data and trends for improvement.
- Oversee TAP monitoring and the transition of corporate accounts from Business Development to the Operations.
- Improve processes and procedures, with a focus on CRM Automation, product information and lesson learned .
- Above average written and verbal communication skills.
- Showcase your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
- Identify potential challenges/risks and solve problems efficiently or work with Leaders for a solution.
- Foster a fast-paced culture leading by example in terms of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
- Effectively prioritize and manage the team multiple and personal tasks to meet KPI's and deadlines.
- To provide the highest level of customer service by leading and mentoring, fostering a positive and productive work environment and resolving escalated issues as needed.

What we need from you
- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Business or International Business or similar discipline.
- (CCS) Customs Certified Specialist Designation and/or (LCB) Licensed Customs Broker is an asset.
- Minimum 10 years of experience within the Customs Brokerage industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing large and national accounts.
- Experience managing accounts in Freight, Warehousing, International Trades/Compliance would be an asset.
- Advanced MS Office knowledge in applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English (US SB & MEX only).
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
