Registered Nurse – Med/Surg – Night shift, full‑time (36 hours per week). 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Must work alternate weekends and holidays on rotation. Salary includes a $10,000 bonus with a 2‑year commitment. New graduates pending NCLEX are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, while maintaining standards of care in the Telemetry Unit.
- Be directly responsible for and accountable for the care of assigned patients.
- Communicate changes in patients’ clinical condition to physicians, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or treatment response.
- Refer to appropriate units as needed for specialized care.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintenance.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintenance.
- Acute‑care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Medical‑Surgical Nurse‑Board Certified (RN‑BC) or similar certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
