• Participateinsafetypre-jobaudits(JSA’s) withtheworkcrewtoensureallsafetyhazardshavebeenidentified
• Boltorarcweldspressurevesselstructuresandpartstogether,usingwrenchesorweldingequipment.
• Attachriggingandsignalcraneorhoistoperatorstoliftheavyframeandplatesectionsorotherpartsintoplace.
• Layout plate,sheet steel,orotherheavymetalandlocateandmarkbendingandcuttinglines,using protractors,compassesanddrawinginstrumentortemplates.
• Shape seams,joints,orirregularedgesofpressurevesselsectionsorstructuralpartstoattainspecifiedfitofparts,usingcuttingtorches,hammers,files,ormetalworkingmachines.
• Beabletoreadandinterpretdesignsanddrawingstocreatetemplates
• Operatemetalworkingmachinerytorepairormakeparts.
• Position,align,andsecurestructuralpartsorrelatedassembliestoboilerframes,tanks,orvatsofpressurevessels,following blueprints.
• Anyotherdutiesasassignedbysupervision.

• Knowledgeofriggingcomponents(come-a-longs,chain hoist,slingsetc.)
• Basicmathskills
