Healthcare Receptionist Client Services

Make every client contact welcoming as a Healthcare Receptionist using effective communication, sound judgement, and organized office administration. Support a Fraser Health centre.

This Medical Office Assistant and Receptionist position serves as the first point of contact for clients and families with complex medical and social needs. You will provide reception, maintain confidential records, process documents, and share information with health care and social service organizations. Collaboration supports access to timely, person-centred services.

• Welcome visitors and direct clients to appropriate areas
• Answer routine inquiries and provide Centre information
• Follow up on referral and diagnostic test orders
• Process mail, faxes, reports, and courier documents
• Liaise with health and social service organizations

• Medical Office Assistant diploma and Grade 12
• One year of recent related clerical experience
• Ability to handle conflict and exercise sound judgement
• Ability to organize priorities and work independently
• Knowledge of office practices, policies, and procedures
