Safety Advisor Position

Agilus by Synergie seeks a Health and Safety Field Safety Advisor for the Oil and Gas sector in Port Moody, British Columbia. Ensure safety compliance through innovative solutions and technical expertise.

As a key member of our safety operations, you'll enhance compliance by assessing safety standards and supporting contractor safety training. The role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Experience in high-risk settings is crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct critical safety assessments and inspections

• Facilitate safety meetings and provide guidance

• Assess and manage contractor safety qualifications

• Coach on safety protocols and practices on-site

• Report identified hazards and assist with investigations

Requirements:

• A decade of safety experience, particularly in oil and gas

• Valid safety certification (e.g., CRSP, CSO)

• Knowledge of BC Worksafe protocols

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proven track record in safety improvement initiatives
