We are seeking a Tax &
Private Enterprise Manager on a full-time basis to join our team in Port Moody (Suter Brook Village). The role supports our Taxation and Private Enterprise division servicing our portfolio of owner-managed corporations, individuals, trusts, and publicly-traded companies.

- Prepare and file T1 personal tax returns, T2 corporate tax returns (public and private companies), and T3 trust income tax returns.
- Prepare and file other miscellaneous tax forms (T4, T4A, T5, etc.).
- Prepare and file foreign reporting forms (T106, T1134, T1135).
- Conduct tax research on issues of varying complexity, in support of our firm’s private enterprise and public company divisions.
- Prepare Case Ware Working Papers files and financial statements for various compilation and review engagements for small owner-managed businesses.
- Assist clients with preparing timely and accurate responses to CRA audits and reviews.
- Prepare and file flow-through corporate tax forms (T100, T101, and related) for publicly-traded companies in the junior resource sector.
- Prepare and review deferred income tax provisions and ensure their accurate presentation in financial statement note disclosures (for publicly traded companies).
- Prepare GST returns and respond to CRA audits and reviews as necessary.
- Be prepared to communicate with clients regarding basic estate planning strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Canadian taxation (personal, corporate, trusts).
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA Canada).
- Experience with Case Ware, Tax Prep, and Quick Books.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain current with new tax legislation.
- Strong tax analytical skills, including the ability to identify, research, and advise on tax issues.
