Facilities Operations Superintendent

Lead facilities operations with the City of Port Moody in British Columbia. As the Superintendent, you will manage skilled tradespeople, ensuring efficient maintenance and operations of civic facilities.

In this full-time position, you will provide direction for all facility operations, overseeing arenas and aquatic facilities. Leverage your expertise in HVAC systems, risk assessments, and budgeting to support the city's recreational teams and community programs effectively while maintaining public safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead maintenance operations for city facilities

• Oversee complex building systems for public safety

• Manage recruitment, performance, and team functions

• Support budget management for the Facilities Division

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma in related field or equivalent

• Minimum 3-5 years in facilities operations supervision

• Solid understanding of HVAC and aquatic systems

• Experience in contract management and procurement

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
