Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody, BC, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to assist with outpatient procedures, focusing on patient care during minor surgeries. Utilize your nursing skills in a state-of-the-art facility.

As an LPN, you will utilize your training to assess and document care effectively while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures. Your registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives and recent clinical experience will be essential as you engage with patients during their visits. You will also collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to promote high-quality patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document care and perform nursing assessments for patients

• Facilitate patient admissions for outpatient procedures

• Observe and communicate patient status during procedures

• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives

• Assist in mentoring new nurses and healthcare students

Requirements:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse registration with BCCNM

• One year of experience in relevant clinical settings

• Basic cardiac life support certification

• Skills in effective communication and patient engagement

• Ability to organize and prioritize nursing responsibilities
