As a part of Kinsight’s mission, you will collaborate with families and the community to aid individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will involve personal care, advocacy, and fostering opportunities for learning and self-expression within our vibrant communities. We value your expertise and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote independence through dedicated support in home settings
• Foster learning and connection within the community
• Assist with personal and medical care needs
• Advocate for inclusion and individual rights
• Collaborate on individual care plans to reflect personal preferences
Requirements:
• Diploma in Human Services or equivalent
• At least one year working with developmental disabilities
• Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support strategies
• Class 5 Driver’s License necessary
• Valid First Aid/CPR and Mandt certifications
